Telephone numbers are a limited resource, sooner or later phone numbers get reused. The ACMA regulations require service providers to quarantine numbers for 6 months before reissuing them. Our policy is to quarantine numbers for 12 months, double the ACMA requirements.
However numbers may still be listed online with old business details on listing sites like truelocal. If you do find a number you like and you find it listed on one one of these sites a quick email to the site administrators advising them of the obsolete information will usually have the listing removed.
Many of our numbers are New and have never been listed, there is no extra charge for these numbers.
